The only reason that I am not giving a 1-star review is that Kim Cakerice is an absolutely phenomenal physician here, and if you get here, you should feel very lucky. So, I payed my outstanding balance, and that was that. I tried to call and explain the situation to them, but like many before, was met with rudeness by Teri on the phone and got nowhere. I missed one, $65 payment for a COVID test (which I thought was covered by insurance), and was promptly told that Crescent was terminating their relationship with me. My entire family (mother, father, twin brother) has been going to this practice for 20+ years.
I never write Google Reviews, but just want to confirm that this place legitimately only cares about your money. Disappointing because the doctors are great. Def switching my care to another practice. Other reviews of this place show I’m not alone. I’ve worked in small family owned practices and never seen an office do something like this. You can pay now and we’ll void the checks” I declined because it didn’t sit right with me and you think they couldn just hold on to their pants. I advised that I‘ve already sent checks out for over half the balance already. Yesteday I got a call and they were trying to collect on the same bill. She told me that was fine and I lined out when I would be making payments. I called the office and spoke to a girl who was nice and said I’m willing to pay out of my HSA, no problem, and that sometimes mail gets lost at my house since our neighbors across the street have the same address as us. I received notice that I had a balance with them or else I would be terminated. Sad because I really like the doctors here, but their collection practices are shady.
